After breeding our Rose Gray Female to our True Black Male it was quite a surprise to find this beautiful little beige female in the field. What a great surprise!!! She is so fine, dense and super bright. Her fiber is already crimpy and she is extremely well covered. Fernie is a favorite around here because she is the softest alpaca we have produced yet. Everyone wants to touch her. With all the color in her back ground and a couple of dark spots on her legs we suspect she will be a great color producer. Fernies coloring includes light fawn legs and neck, and light silver gray face.
At the Indiana Alpaca Invitational the judge expressed surprise at how very fine her fleece was. With the gray in her coloring and the super fine fleece Fernie is going to be very exciting to breed.

Fernie has delivered a beautiful light fawn male cria. He has her fine bright fleece as well as his sires incredible coverage.

2017 Fernie is being offered as a pet but with breeding rights. We are accumulating too many animals and are sacraficing a few to make room.
